Pages 1-2 was "prologue" to do with the plot running through the intended issues 1-3. I didn't really want to post any of that yet until I know what the hell I'm doing exactly, and I mainly wanted people to look at the action scene.
I am sorely tempted to actually extend the action scene, split it into two phases and make it into a full-length (~22-24 pages) issue. I have enough material to maybe make it work, and I reckon I can make it fit with my plans.

If you were to extend the action to a full issue. I would make the first issue the prologue with maybe some flashback action scenes to set up issue 2. That is if flashbacks would work with your story. You don't want to overwhelm the reader with action or exposition. Another possibilty would be to split the action scene over 2 issues and leave the first issue on a cliff hanger, like when the team jumps out of the jet for instance. Make that the final splash page and set up some serious kick assery for issue 2.

I understand what you mean about the flashbacks, but the way the first arc is structured in my mind I'll have to rejiggle too much for it. The second possibility is more feasible, but however I don't think I have enough stuff that I can fit in at the beginning of the first issue in order to drive the end of it to a reasonable cliffhanger for the second issue. No, I reckon the best thing to do is to continue writing it as it is right now, and then, when the first arc is finished, I will see what I can do. I know what happens, I have half the dialogue written, and some action scenes planned out, I just need to put the damn thing together.
Thanks for the ideas though, it made me really think about it.

No problem. It's fun to see how stories and ideas take shape. There's nothing wrong with a whole issue of butt kicking. as long as it moves the story forward go for it.
I would be interested in seeing how this team came to become a team in the first place. That to me would be an interesting story a la current Justice League.
