Some people have no business showing their art to anyone if they are going to be this thin skinned. If you go to class and don't perform up to standards expected from you, instructors will tear you a new one. They aren't going to walk on eggshells around you. You are graded on production. An instructor wouldn't even just say to you "this is disappointing"... they'd just give you a low grade, possibly backed up by some harsh comments. And you'd just have to live with it.

This isn't an art school now is it? I've been showing my art for a long time now and I've taken it on the chin enough times. I'm not even losing this bout so it's not like I'm crying about anything. Bovey is not my art instructor, nor my mentor. He has no authority over me, therefore I DON'T NEED TO TAKE SHIT FROM HIM. Why is that so hard for people to understand??

Oh, and for whoever negged rep'd me, thank you for doing that. You're a lowlife piece of crap and a coward for not signing it. Grow a spine you turd.

I won't attempt to apologize for what I said, because there was no ill will or malice behind my comment. You are the one placing that there. What I said came from a place of respect for your past work submitted here (that goes for the both of you) and I said as much. If you are sincerely hurt by it, then I am sorry that you took it that way. But that is all I will apologize for.
