Comic Cons - 2012

Hmmm. Yeah, not many English people on these boards really.

However, I'll be at Kapow and the MCM Expo - both in London in May.

When the f*ck will people realise that places do exist in England that arn't London? Are there any cons that happen in, for example, Leeds-Birmingham-Manchester-Newcastle? Is it just that the concentrated dermagraphic deems that London the most sensible place?

I did the convention in Birmingham last year - and I also had a table at Thought Bubble in Leeds. Thought Bubble is one of the biggest and best comic cons in the UK. Its a firm favourite with creators. I also did the Bristol con.

Manchester has an Expo as well, I believe.

So.....yeah, there are cons ALL OVER the UK.

I'd love to see this become a sticky somewhere each year. I think it'd help the community.

it'd definitly be more effective than the dozen or so individual ones for cons that pop up.

I was sad to learn that Wizard Magazine closed shop, at least they still do the cons.

Beastie- Me and RC will be attending at Norcon this year (the Norwich Sci Fi convention). Also although technically not a convention I will also be performing as part of a comedy troupe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (where I shall also be handing out RC promo cards, get in touch with me if you want to sponsor and get your name out there!)

Another big thing for the Norcon convention is we should have the video game ready or at the very least in demo form!
