silly double post... /le sigh
Don't worry about it, Aabh. Shit happens! You don't have to feel bad about it, hell I'm struggling to get my piece done. Was planning on spending all day on it, polishing it, but forgot I have work until 10pm tonight, which gives me an hour to finish.
However, I will upoad what I got tonight, finished or not.
I'd say half-done is better then nothing, really, Aabh. so imo, post what you got. You have 11hrs 23 min, after all![]()
silly double post... /le sigh
Hey if it makes you guys feel better, I haven't even started yet. i've just sketched ideas on the train each day and i know none of them are what i'm going with! I work in financial services so I have no time during the week and had to sort the whole rest of my life yesterday. I'm gonna look to get something up. It is Hoffling's thread tho. If he wants to allow extra time, I'm happy to do that. I actually requested the shorter deadline originally. Learning to stick to the deadline teaches you to learn how to draw the whole image up in batches. Though if you're mid way through, its a whole different story. Anyways, I'm off to draw for the meantime. I'll pop back in a few hrs and see if we're still on for today or an extension is granted.
Well, since three of us won't be able to make it to the deadline, I think we should extend it untill wednesday, 11 pm gmt. 3 extra days should make some difference for us all, right?
I'd LOVE that, I really want to finish my piece![]()

Cool, sounds good guys.
Hofling you are lucky me friend that i didnt see this earlier!its an awesome topic! cant wait to see what u guys/girl come up with!
Hah, you got 30 hrs to whip something up. So plenty of time ;-)
Too often challenges on comic forums just have a topic of an established set of characters. That's fine, however a professional has done much of the hard work for you in terms of establishing their design, attitude, body language etc. Every now and then its good to force yourself to do something from scratch. I'm sure the stuff we produce in such a short time period won't be epic. However there might be an idea that can be refined for future. I know my current drawing isn't what I'd first visualised in my head and after this challenge, I intend to sit down and do a refined and revamped version of what I came up with.
