Television Ultimate Spiderman: The Animated Series

comes on DisneyXD on Sunday mornings.

It breaks the 4th wall...narrative from Spideys POV.

its like Teen Titans was but just not as funny.

and Agent Coulson is part of SHIELD

Havent watched it yet, don't know what to think. I'm sure I'll check it out but right now Green Lantern: the animated series is the best thing on tv.

Doesn't look too bad, I like the animation style

I WAS excited for it, up until the newer trailers.

It kinda defeats the whole "Peter Parker, struggling hero"-concept when Nick Fury is giving him crap like flying motorcycles and spare Iron Man suits.
Also not crazy about the voice.
Literally the only thing about this I can still be happy for is Man of Action doing the animation.

My expectations are pretty low right now, so this show is REALLY gonna have to win me over.

Yeah, that voice really didn't impress me.

I have no idea why they didn't just continue with The Spectacular Spiderman ?!??!

I usually don't care for the "kiddy" style of super hero cartoons but I actually found this to be extremely fun. Of course, I have to totally disconnect myself from the comic which I loved. The only thing I don't care for is Peter working with S.H.I.E.L.D. Otherwise, I think it's a fun and energetic series so far. I like the art style much better than "Spectacular Spider-Man" which I just would not watch...it actually made me a little sick to look at it. With that said, I don't think this incarnation of Spider-Man will last very long.

I do like the new Avengers series so far. I'm only up to episode 5 on Netflix and it's pretty darn good! I wish all animated comic based series were as good. Well, "Game Of Thrones" is waiting for me on the DVR so I better get the popcorn and have at it.

I think Dmario hit it on the head when he said its a less witty Teen Titans.

As long as you realize that this is a series targeted at little kids its isn't terrible.

Wasn't what I was expecting ,but not everything needs to be for all ages.

And did someone just say spectacular Spiderman was unwatchable?? ugh you hurt my soul. Not everyone likes Cheeks style I guess.

Just watched the first two episodes and am not liking what I'm seeing. The Sheild connection seems way too forced. The other teen heroes seem to be thrown in to grab various demographics (?). The voice acting is pretty mediocre.

I like the action, and there are parts that grab me, but overall, I'm just left feeling that they should have picked up Spectacular for a 3rd season.

Spectacular Spider-man was phenomenal. I didn't like the art at first, but within maybe 2 or 3 episodes, I was loving it. The voice acting was superb, and season 2 left off on a pretty awesome cliffhanger.

Why we couldn't get more of that is beyond me.
