Superman's (possibly) Over Ornate Insignia!

http://www.comicsalliance.com has a photo of the new Superman logo for the new movie. They ask if the image is too ornate.
I am inclined to agree.
The image is cool as a photo. I just hope DC is not going to ask artists to draw the insignia that way in the comics. Way too busy for comics. But so is the new uniform, if you ask me.
So, are 21st century DC comics going to be known as the "New Art Deco" style? For those that don't know, Art Deco is short for decorative art that had a lot of eye pleasing but superfluous elements.

I am still on the fence about this whole Reboot. I have been a superman fan since i can remeber, and they have done some weird things with him, but IDK, taking away his red undies to me is just not right..

they just need to make an action based sups film and cut out all the fancy b.s. The new stuff looks absolutely horrible...they..WB...are just over doing it.

I've scrolled down and seen some more neat things. Looks like "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" is going to do the same thing like when “Justice League” became “Justice League Unlimited”. They look to even toss some new first stringers in with the second stringers too.

Hmmmmm. Have things totally turned around and now Marvel is swiping DC's ideas? If things continue like this I will have even less respect for Marvel. That would be a bad thing. I grew up on exciting Marvel comics and really hate to see them so bland and vanilla.
Oh, well, what can I expect after Disney took over.
