What I believe you are looking for is called "tablet PC's" or "Tablet Laptops." I don't know your budget, but this may be what you're talking about.

Acer is usually one of the cheapest brands out there, but my laptop knowledge is spotty at best, especially when it comes to off-brands.

I have just what you are looking for but you might want to be careful. I have Fujitsu's tablet laptop. it was seriously pricey, over $2,000 for all the bells and whistles. It does let me draw on the screen, which is nice but the pressure sensitivity is not as good as a Wacom tablet and it is hard to use for drawing in Photoshop because pretty much everything I want to do has keyboard shortcuts that I'd rather use but in tablet mode you can't touch the keyboard. It is also heavy and hot which makes for uncomfortable drawing sessions.

Lenovo has another that is worth a look. If you can find one.

My advice would be to take your money and get a good laptop with a Wacom tablet. For the cost of the kind of computer you are looking for you could get an awesome computer and a solid tablet with some change left over.

I don't regret buying my tablet. it is is handy, but it has some limitations. I think the technology is still a couple years off for the kind of computer that works like a laptop and functions like a Wacom tablet.

    Here's some other options...

    http://www.amazon.com/P-Active-Graph...d_sim_sbs_pc_2

I'm looking seriously into getting one of these. The P-Active has better youtube reviews but it's $400 more than the other one.
As soon as I have an extra $500 to spare I think I'm going to go with the New Yiynova.

Yeah, I know you get what you pay for and all that but a Cintique is just out of the question. Heck, I'm using a $50 Monoprice tablet right now and I like it much better than my old Wacom from ten years ago.

I use an old Toshiba Tecra M7. It's a normal laptop that you can flip the screen around and turn it into a tablet. The screen size is 14" 1440x900 (that was why I originally bought it, back then it was by far the biggest screen for a tablet laptop, all the others were at best 1020x680! Some were 800 x 600! Useless!)

The pressure sensitivity isn't as subtle as a real wacom, but it's close enough for me and nicely portable. As for hotkeys, I bought a Nostromo n52 game controller and programmed all my hotkeys into it. I'd use the Nostromo even if I were using a regular wacom simply because it allows me to launch multi-key macros with a single keypress which is faster and nicer than constantly having to reach over with my right hand to hit keys while holding the stylus.
