Thread: Is there ANY room on the Adult Swim lineup for a funny show?

No, it applies to CN as well. Or if you have a better idea as to why we have garbage like "Level Up" and "Hole in the Wall" when I could be having more Young Justice...

Maybe I'm mistaken, but the last I remember coming to pj, people were praising the Tim and Eric show. Looks like the tables have turned... (a good turn, mind you.)

I've been trying to check out some actual "Cartoon Network" shows, some of them actually aren't that bad and even seem to have a lil adultswim influence in them.. I think the best two I've probably seen are Gumball and Mad. I love the animation style on Gumball and the settings they put the characters in; Mad is fairly inconsistent but pretty good when they're doing movie parodies, when they switch the animation style to the art style of the magazines (I think they put the most work into these parodies, some of the other clips on Mad look like they were done by somebody that just got their first copy of Photoshop)

Gumball, Adventure Time, and Regular Show are the best of comedy that CN has to offer. They're all hysterical with the occasional adult joke or three slipped in.

Mad just infuriates me. It's all the mindless, most simplistic parodies you can think of... but even further dumbed down for kids.
