Is there ANY room on the Adult Swim lineup for a funny show?

Tim & Eric are geniuses, way ahead of their time.. Birdman was the best though, I shed a tear for it daily

Children's Hospital is also really good, as is Steve Brule (if they do another season).. I tried to watch China Il, Superjail, some of these others - just can't do it.

I've actually watched a lil of Archer for the first time on fx a week or 2 ago, it's a lot better than I thought it'd be.. there's also supposed to be a cartoon coming out from the dudes that do Sunny in Philly

I spoke with someone who works with Adult Swim once, and he said that while trying to pitch a concept, all the higher-ups wanted to know was which celebrity would be attached.

Since the answer was 'none', there was no further discussion.

There seem to be a lot of shows on adult swim that don't have celebrities attached.. maybe they just didn't like his pitch

And I like China Il. (it sucked the first time I watched it, then it really grew on me) and lot of other shows on Adult Swim, but a lot of them do, admittedly, lack that... whatever it was that Adult Swim had a few years ago.

As long as the Boondocks, the Venture Bros. and Metalocalypse don't get cancelled, I'll give Adult Swim a chance. And if they're still gonna make Black Dynamite a series...

Yeah it def used to be better, hell tim & eric aren't really even on there anymore.

I can't remember if minoriteam was actually a good show or not but I remember loving that art style



used to like aqua teen and robot chicken back in the day as well but they've both grown a bit stale imo, haven't really seen much of the new aqua teen patrol

See about 1 minute thirty into this I'm not only not laughing, but I'm ready to charge the screen like a silverback gorilla and beat the computer until it f**king bleeds to death!

The only way they are funny is on the Andy Kauffman level where if you enjoy their inside joke on the rest of the world where they put out a horrible show and sell it as comedy and you watch it knowing full well that people everywhere are just angry as sh!t that this is on TV... THEN I can see how one might find funny in this.

I do not in any way mean to say these guys are as good as Andy Kauffman who WAS funny... I just mean to say that similarly to Mr Kauffman, these guys very existence is like a sick joke on humanity.

Yeah? And why is this REMOTELY funny? Because it's NOT Tim and Eric... Zack Galifianakis actually has the skill and the presence to pull off this sort of bizarre and uncomfortable comedy without it feeling forced!

This video in no way proves that Tim and Eric are actually funny!
