Weird fantasy planet

I just started drawing this today,had a hankering to draw some sci fi.
all comments welcome.

Kinda reminds me of the castle from KRULL (but I might be misremembering). Anyhoo...really cool stuff!

It's very interesting, Steve. I get sirandal's comments too. It does seem a little like the Krull castle--mostly because it's a jagged sort of structure--but I doubt you were actually thinking of that when you drew this.



I really like this piece. Alien worlds are so much fun to envision. This has a great fantasy aspect to it that reminds me of those great space paintings from the 1950s-1970s era. I can almost see a giant Saturn-like planet in the Horizon. Fun stuff, amigo!

Paul I haven't seen that movie since the mid 80's but from the pic loston put up i can see the simalrity.
I was actully watching the 1982 "THING " movie while i was drawing.

That's looking sharp.

Really...very sharp. I feel like they could trip, slip, and lose a limb.



And as for Krull, apparently the 80s impacted us all greatly.
