The topic alone gives me SO many ideas... there's a lot of symmetry that can be played up here: Lizard vs Killer Croc, Black Cat vs Catwoman, Bane vs Venom, Joker vs Green Goblin (in the battle of the most effed up mind) Penguin vs Doctor Octopus... on The Biggest Loser.

Ok, I don't stand a chance, but what the hell, i gotta draw one of these. YOU'RE ON!

As a warning, i -MAY- do sequentials. I think a lot of these match-ups/gags might need some set-up. We'll see...

Hey Jel, would you be down for a one-day extension? I've had a number of unforeseen distractions, and while I'm sure I can get something out by the arranged due-date, I might need some extra time for some polish.

But if you're just about done with yours, then don't worry about it. Wouldn't be fair if I had an extra day =)

This is my sorry attempt. There's a funny story about how I had to resort to this.

I was GOING to do Catwoman vs Black Cat... sequentials. Had it all laid out. Unfortunately, three things dampened that idea. ONE: I think if was FCO who just did a "Girl fight" and had two characters in the background munching popcorn, which is what I was going to have Spidey and Batman doing at the end, and I didn't wanna look like a copy-cat. Two: I couldn't get the poses for the girls right. I just could NOT render the poses i wanted at the angles i wanted. Third: I rationalized that CW and BC really weren't "villains" that much anymore, and I didn't know if it counted.

So, there's this, Lizard vs Killer Croc. I was going to have them fighting in a sewer, but I've been trying, erasing, re-trying, re-scrapping backgrounds for about 3 hours now and i... I give up. But I gotta make a showing, so here's Lizard and Killer Croc floating in the void and hurling boulders at each other >_> I know i technically have a few more hours, but I'm afraid screwing around with the picture any more is going to ruin it, so... here. (And yes, KC is missing an arm.. i couldn't figure out a non-awkward pose for it at this particular angle)

Jel, I'd wish you good luck, but you probably won't need it =) Wish I coulda made a stronger showing against ya, but what're you gonna do?

It's still pretty cool, dude! I'm gonna have to go with a cell phone pic of mine, hopefully it turns out alright. Now to see if I can post a poll from my new phone.
