Hmmm...

Your first and third pieces show promise, you seem to have a very good grasp of anatomy... but they look unfinished. The second one is... well, inconsistent with your work in the 1st and 3rd pieces. The 1st and 3rd pieces might squeak by in the middles, but the lack of faces, along with your... inconsistent second piece, tell me you're still weak in that one very basic area. Also, since this is all in pencil (no inks, no colors), you're not showing a wide range of ability.

Now, maybe you are middle material, but it's been noted recently that we've got a good number of people in the LightWeight division who are putting out deceptively good pieces. Just looking at the matches this month, there are maybe 4 or 5 guys there who put out stuff that would give you a challenge. And the middle weights are full of people who are even BETTER.

I'm kinda on the fence. If only you were better at drawing faces and didn't shy away from doing backgrounds, I'd say middle without a doubt. However, since you're not showing that HERE, I'm reluctant to vote that way. Though Middles would FORCE you to get a lot better a lot faster if you wanted to win any matches, so maybe it'd be good for you...

I'm conflicted now. Gonna wait and see what a few others say. Too bad we don't have a ... strong-light division or something =)

I'm seeing a lot of nice musculature... but so many unfinished parts. Compared to the current batch of Lightweihts, you'll have your hands full.

I went with light. The un-finished nature of these peices were a bit of a downer. These pieces show a lot of promise - Now fight your way to the top! (Don't be fooled. There is a lot of talent in the LW right now)
