Hmmm

While on one hand, this is professional-quality stuff that does a lot of things right... the OTHER hand tells me that there are a LOT of people in the heavyweights whos work I like better than what I'm seeing here. The coloring here doesn't compete with what Juggertha pumps out. The level of detail doesn't match up with what NYPicasso or Dann show up with. I'd feel bad voting him into the heavies when, in my SUBJECTIVE opinion, he'd have a hard time competing there. Though I also feel that voting LHW would be an insult to his skill level. I'm gonna have to think on this!

This one is tough since PUMMEL is mostly ruled by the guys who can do breathtaking pin-ups. That said, Scott strikes me as the kind of guy who can easily pump out an actual STORY of panels for pummel every month if he needs to take the cake. I think his draftsmanship alone is LHW, but his storytelling ability and composition say Heavy.

I don't think Scott would stand a chance against someone like trampis or fcoesquivel, who both were just recently in the LHW division.

The pages posted here are pretty good, but I see a few things that make me question how hard Scott would be able to bring it against the current crop of heavyweights. And then I look at some of the current LHWs, like Electronick and basil, and wonder how he would stand against either of them.

I'm going to think on it.

Agreed. There is still a lot of skill in the LHWs, and they are not prone to being walked over.

I voted heavy, the work is solid and consistent. The pages make sense and I had no trouble following the panels. There is a fine tuned method behind them. The mark of a heavy in my book. welcome!

I think he was a heavyweight earlier? His work has inproved a lot since then but I think I remember some struggles drawing traditional superheroes. How will his Hulk look against NYP, FCO, Keith or Bovey? You have to be versatile in the top division or you'll get slaughtered.
