In an effort to make 2012 a year of constant artistic improvement, I'd like to join PUMMEL. Here are the three most recent pages I've finished:

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish there was a pin up in the mix. Rarely do we get someone with such consistent panel work... But it's all the same(ish) style. I would have liked to see something with a bigger splash.

That being said, I see awesomeness all over this. Going to wait until I get home to look more closely, but right now it's feeling quite Heavy to me.

Unfortunately I have no recent pin-ups. Hopefully PUMMEL will help me pad out those parts of my portfolio.

The comic itself is also entertaining. Where can I read more? I like the style too very retro.

Though lack of pin-ups worry me.

I am very excited to see Scott join. I have seen pinup and portrait style stuff from him before. I even colored a Wolverine pic he did.

One thing though, Scott. The black guy on the first page looks OLDER than the woman whose age he is mocking. Hmmm. Anyway, I love the horizontal panel on that page - illustrating the 'over the hill' idea. That is VERY nicely done

It's going to be fun to see you applying your style to some superhero splash pages

I see an interesting range of camera-angles, compositions, facial-expressions and a consistent use of perspective in Scott's work. The Colors are done very professionally as well. I voted Heavyweight based on these criteria, and see the stylization as a choice for this particular comic strip, and not a crutch.

You mean there might be a double standard when it comes to age? I kid. I get your point....the dude is claiming to be young but looks older than his claim.
