Bo staff's are built to deflect and absorb the blows of a sword or any other blade. They are made with strong, dense wood and many times are bolstered with metal. The more likely scenario is that Leo's blades would dull over time from bouncing off the bo... The Bo has greater range than Leo's swords and also remember that even in a fight with the other turtles, Leonardo's discipline is to not use his blades...

...but lets say they were trying to kill each other...

Leonardo and Donatello have an easy advantage over Raph with his short-range weapons which are really mostly for catching his sword blades and aren't really for cutting... as does Don...

Michelangelo isn't any better with range and his only hope would also be to snag and swipe Leo's swords or Don's bo... but in this scenario I see Leo and Don taking the other two out and the far less violent and highly intelligent Donatello using his superior range (and intellect) to thwart Leo's bloodlust by knocking him out.

Sadly I feel that your post alone covers the whole idea I had for the thread. haha Basically no one has any need to put any more of an opinion down because, frankly, you have a solid argument.

Donatello is generally portrayed as the Turtle least interested in fighting and probably the least trained. Leonardo is the most devoted to training and would have the best technique, though Raphael is the most unpredictable and brutal, known for his berserker rages that can make him the most dangerous. The TMNT role-playing game (which was supposed to represent the original comic) said Michaelangelo had the most raw talent, which perhaps would put him, Leo, and Raph on roughly even terms (Mike the most talented, Leo the most trained, Raph the most vicious), though I'm not sure how much that particular fact was ever reflected in the comic and I don't generally think of Mikey that way.

In general, I'd put my money on either Raph or Leo, with Donnie and Mikey really not being as into it.

Yeah, but if they HAD to fight... doesn't matter who's "into" it when it's a survival game... and I stil say the reach and the intelligence along with the cool head and the right weapon to handle the blades... In a defensive fight... Donatello.

Raph with his hot temper is bound to make mistakes and those pig stickers aren't going to get him anywhere. He should not be a top 2 option...

Raph all the way, Leo would hold back, Mikey wouldn't be into it, and Don's not even in the picture.

If Raph was into it enough to go at it with one of his brothers, he wouldn't be afraid to drive a Sai into someone, or take one of Leo's swords and decapitate him. everyone else would waste too much time trying to talk each other down.

Once again... this is not they are thinking about fighting it out or some escalating argument... this is for whatever reason the turtles have gotten to a point where they all want to fight... they all want each other bloody upon the floor... and for some reason they are all equally mad at each other respectively...

Raph is easily bottom two... unless Leo does still pull punches just out of some moral block he can't get past and then Raph might make 2nd place...
