    Pencilling X-force sample pages.

Hey guys, a few days ago a friend told me that a Marvel editor was coming to mexico for portfolio reviews. The dinamic to get to that portfolio review was drawing an X-force sample script.

Well, it seems that I didn't made the cut to get my portfolio reviewed so I decided to post these pages here anyway to get some crits on 'em.

This pages were done in 4 days. I wasn't notified in time about this oportunity, so I did what I could with the time I had. I gotta admit that I'm not happy with the pages, and besides the small deadline I had, I think I still need to work more my pencils.

Well, enjoy and feel free to drop any comment or crit!

BTW, the last one is a double page.

Well for Turning these out in just 4 days my hat is off to you Joaquin
I think my strategy would have been, Be the best I could be and if I only had 1 page or 2 The Rep would see my full potential and would probably be open to seeing more of my stuff.I'm sure he or she would give you contact info..
    Don't be discouraged ( Ever! )

Thanks a lot for your encouraging words Brian! Actually the rules the organizers of the event gave, stablished that it needed to be 6 pages necessarily to pass the filter and get to the interview with Cebulski.
Anyway, I'll keep on working to sharp my skills, and maybe in the future some new oportunities will come.

    1. Too many straight on shots. Nice pencils though.

    2. Where's this script? I'd like to check it out.

Thanks for your comments Juggertha! I cannot find the link of the script now, the organizers took it off their page, but I do have a pdf version of it. If you want it, I can send it to you.
