I believe that there's already a Jim Lee X-Men Omnibus coming out very soon. This just looks like a commemoration of THE biggest selling comic book of all time.

Man, that's excellent looking stuff. Jim Lee is one of the few artists whose work is at its best when given the high-gloss digital coloring treatment. It seems like even in 1991, his lines were waiting for everything else to catch up.

Man, looking at those pages brought back memories. This was one of my favorite comics when I was younger, and I'd re-read it pretty much on a weekly basis.
I may consider checking this out, but I already have 2 of the gatefold cover issues and about 3 or 4 of the single cover issues. I'm not sure if I need another one!
So they made Xavier's head even shinier and Iceman 2 dimensional? This seems fairly pointless to me. Now Lee and Williams going back at it and adding more depth and texture and selling it in b&w? That'd be a must have.
