remember as well to look for existing threads within Tips & Tech that you can link to. Those will have both links to offsite content as well as the reactions, additions and notations of various forum members. One of the reasons our old thread went out-of-date was that various forum updates and upheavals over the years rendered many links null.
Thanks, feel free to suggest adding threads if i"ll miss something that you think is worth putting here.
The same goes to all of you guys if you know about some thread or link to useful tutorials feel free to PM me.

Added links to a tremendous source of workshops and tutorials, both on painting and on comicbook making.

Thread is already stickied, no need to bump it, since it doesn't do anything except make everyone aware there's a new post...of course, nevermind me if that was your intention.

also I added a pretty good lettering link (ninja lettering) since I was here. I'll clean up this thread too.

Scott McCloud's name is misspelled, there should be two "T's" in Scott, you have it spelled as "Scot"

In that case, just bump it with a note of what's added. In this instance, I added a writing section (cleaned up the stickies on the T&T board) and added writing links. Added a few more lettering links as well.

This thread is pretty out of order, linking to purchasable books/dvds that creators like Scott McCloud and David Finch make to earn a living and people like me worked hard to buy.

If you can't afford something: Get a job, failing that - Go to the library.

    A. Get a life! failing that - &*#$ off!

    B. Being a bit more mature, if you have a problem with me/this thread or anything else for that matter, feel free to contact the mods, and if needed i'm sure they would be glad to remove/edit this thread.

Actually, he has a point, though worded perhaps a bit harshly. There shouldn't be links in here to download copyrighted material, especially material than can be readily purchased. When I get a chance (or when you do) just go ahead and remove the material in question.

It's my fault though. In helping with this thread, I neglected to keep an eye out for that stuff.
