That's the face people make in those situations! God, I love that about this show.

Man, i was loving it all throughout, air battles, sea battles, general iroh tearing up like a badass, Korra facing Amon,
Then the Last 15 minutes utterly disappointed me. Could've built up so much suspense and anticipation for next season, but they went all deus ex on me.

Looking forward to next season, but, meh. Kinda let down

Rggh. I was actually bothered by a plethora of "characters making stupid decisions to forward the plot" things here. From "why are there fenceposts without a fence? Well, let's just walk right through it" to "I just saw you bloodbend! Now I will run straight at you with my shocky-sticks!"

How did Naga get into the base? What where those bars made of, because it wasn't metal (polar bears are strong, but c'mon!)? How did Tenzin and the family get captured when they clearly got away? Did nobody really know about airplanes? 'Cause those were some fairly advanced airplanes.

And I'm not even getting into the ending there. But I like that Mako didn't have to be TOO patient. About 20 minutes and a deus ex machina does it. Sheesh.

I like this show, a LOT, but this ending was weak on several points. I hope they do better next season.

    - The fenceposts scene was VERY dumb, yeah. Full agreement there.

    - I can believe Naga tanked the electricity or maybe shoved down a post.

    - The Lieutenant was just pissed and didn't give a ****. He saw Amon bloodbend, yeah, but he was just too mad to care.

    - Tenzin's capture is a weird one too. I mean, I can only assume that the much quicker airplanes caught him faster than the airships, but all the same, it's a bit much to grab at.

    - Yes, apparently no one knew about the airplanes. They were probably too busy staring at the airships to notice.

    - The ending, I'm half and half on. I thought it odd that she just happened to lean air bending when she needed it, yeah. But I can totally agree with her getting in touch with Aang and the past avatars afterwards, and that being able to fix things.

All the same, I do sort of wish they just left her powerless so as to be a badass hook into a second season.

Having her just airbend and try to get in touch with Aang would've been an awesome season. Maybe it turns out she just has to relearn the elements, she just kinda showed up fully powered for the most part, and although I think it worked in regard to just jumping into the story, now that the characters developed and the shows a hit it would've been cool to see her relearn her skills.

Oh well, guess I won't let a crummy finale ruin it for me, there were cool parts as well, but still...

Still a great show, but yeah, the ending was meh. It could have been better and I was really looking forward to her relearning all the rest of her bending. Then again, that was done with the last series. Maybe they have some good stuff in store for us. I'm still willing to watch.
    Cheers, Alex
