My first attempt at simple inking. Apologies for crappy image quality, I should be getting a scanner this week if all goes well.

are the doug and dexter poses referenced? no big deal if they are, just curious. thats a pretty damn good version regardles. I like the throat monster too. heh

Dee Dee was roughly 50% reference just for her pose, but with Dexter, I tried to do as much from memory as possible.
I have to admit, I've been abusing my art, in that I've been using it to hit on nice girls. One I've been talking to had a throat illness for a while, so I drew a monster to represent it. She didn't want to let anyone hear her voice, so I made him a stubborn little bas***d.

Haha it's working out for me so far. As long as I don't let her know that I'm a full nerd or anything I should be fine. Bad part is that I have to hide my Bowen Spiderman busts and my whole Amalgam comics collection :P
