Fairly close, but I like Ridge's pelvic choke, lol.

I voted for JC Immortal. Ridge is the better artists, but JC went all out here, and even added in extra Thunderbrawlers into his drawing. To me, that counts. He pushed himself to do better work. Ridge's execution is great though, and I'll take nothing away from his entry. It's drawn well, inked well and colored better than JC's, but this is not a straight up art contest. It's a Thunderbrawl, and JC's illustration depicts a brawl. Ridge's has a little less impact to me. That's why Ridge, one of my favorite's on PJ, didn't get my vote on this one. JC delivered the brawl, so he earns my nod.

Hmmm, I agree with Loston's sentiment, but I think that sword through the ribcage has won me over.

This was a tricky one. Ridge's is technically better (which I am generally a fan of), but JC's feels on the money. He obliterates the skeleton, with other brawlers all around (I'm not biased ) Nice work both, and I'm voting JC.

putting in the some of the other fighter's like we're all there at the tournament... is a nice touch
and I like the composition of JC Immortal's pic.
Personally I think if you'd of used the same style as you did on your character sheet... then this would be clear win.

Ridge's is tighter
but the composition is less dynamic;
and the pelvic-choke thing is annoying me - anatomically speaking:
The pelvis doesn't articlate: the Iliac bones are fused to the Sacrum.

i guess the whole articulation thing is rather moot anyways:
complete lack of muscles to move the bones; or ligaments to stabilize movement.

While I'm bummed Ridge didn't turn his guy into a bone tank or bone wrecking ball... I am amused by the pelvic choke and acknowledge that he can't pull out all the stops in round one!

JC's is cool and a strong effort... but predictable...

I've got to go with Ridge for execution and humor.
