I think it would be cool to see in 2012 a change to Pummel where Street Fights could count towards your rank. Street Fights are probably my favourite part of Pummel I think as they are easy to understand and to manage.

They do count towards your rank. They go on your record and your record is a tiebreaker when you fall on the same slot as someone else in the Monthly Ranked Matches.

As well, they can be used to advance. Beat 3 higher ranked opponents in SFs (higher classes), and you can jump up a weight class.

I think that's a pretty big incentive.

I think this is possibly the strongest the Heavyweight division has ever been. Especially if everyone stays that's in it now and Keith and Plog jump back in next month. That's one crazy division. Almost makes it tempting to jump back in. Almost.

Doing something for the 3 year mark would be cool. You know what would be really cool? A gigantic tournament combining all the classes. Every competitor seeded according to their rank (NCAA basketball style) at the begining of the tourney. Replacing the ranked matches until the tourney is over.

Possibly use a tourney like that to reshuffle the ranks depending on how you finish in the tournament. Similar to the way the original tournament worked.

Just an outlandish idea.

1. I agree with you. The Heavies are starting to look very thick. And I'm guessing next month they'll look insane.

2. The Tourney sounds interesting. There's lots of talk of having another, but I'm just trying to make sure I show up for the one I have due in a few weeks. lol

how would the gigantic tourney work though? there's a lot more ppl than when we started right? dont polls have limits? Id definately be down. i want to advance to light heavy because im tired of getting my ass kicked in the mids :P

I think a giant march madness style tourney would be awesome. Especially doing seeding based on rank from top to bottom.


And Hangman, wouldn't the Lightheavies be tougher than the Mids?
