nice battle here with a tough scene(gambit vs grifter :fear: )-but it was an easy decision...fcoesquivel gets my vote with the nice clean lines and the work on grifter's gun hand making up for what is somewhat wonky anatomy in other parts. good work from ostile...im just not buying gambit's leg(too long)-grifters legs came out well i thought tho. well battled and enjoyable.

No idea how that could be an easy decision.
Ostlie gets my vote for the gritty style, awesome facial expressions and selling the action a little better. This was definately NOT an easy decision though, both pieces I think are really well done.
I gave it to fco for many reasons, but one I will point out is that he actually drew both coats on both men without resorting to an old trick I use to use myself where you have the coats shredded so you don't have to draw the actual coats. That impressed me and played a big part in my vote.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it will pay for the search.
All sorts of awesome.. in both pieces.
Man, I'm diggin' both of these...this is going to take some thinking.
I do like the cleanliness of FCO's piece, but Walter's seems much more intense.

I like Fco's clean lines, but on the other hand the mess the walters picture is is awesome too.

@pop ya know that you mention it. I was thinking back to how many times I have seen each of their coats torn up. Do you think it could be that one artist started drawing that was so the other ones thought that was the way it was supposed to be. And how easy is it to get out of drawing a face with grifters mask. Thanks Jim Lee. Almost like drawing spiderman. (Not saying that Fco was getting out of drawing his face, just that Lee took the easy was out.) But I like that mask for a change of pace.
PS... I got off on a tangent and forgot the original reason I was posting (That happens when people talk to me as I type. Can't they see I am busy... and ingoring them...on purpose)
So anyway, Pop you think the long coats are harder to draw? I always thought they made life a little easier.
