I do hope you find a heavyweight opponent though. I'd like to see you stick around.
I know. And that would have basically been a street fight between us
That was my problem the past two months. I've been working on my paid gigs (which were badly disrupted by our big move in december). There was no way for me to participate. I wanted to.

thanks man.
All the best, but Richdraws had a thread sitting around like this for MONTHS and he finally just dissappeared. Now he DID manage to get a few wins before you left, but the Heavies just don't take on many matches, and the ones that do aren't around as much anymore.

yeeep. I get the picture.
Would it be better to call out a specific opponent from the heavies? I think baiting them and doing some jive talk in order to goad them into a match would help that way they don't look like a bunch of scaredy-cats.
So make a new thread, call out somebody specific (in the actual thread title), PM them so they're aware of the fact that you're challenging them, and then start talking some smack to make them have to defend themselves. If they show up to the thread and say they're too busy then just move on to the next person on your list.
Or you could work on three awesome new pieces, focusing on the areas that you think might have gotten you the LHW vote and then resubmit in a month or so for a new poll. Granted you could just get voted LHW again but you could also lose your matches to the HWs that accept your challenge.
I hear you, but I'm probably not doing any of that. The whole thing's getting old fast for me now. Just let the thread die and I'll move on my way.
If you want this thread to die out I get that ... but please read what I posted up in your weighin thread before you right PUMMEL off for good.

Even though this horse is laying dead in the street, disemboweled and just beaten beyond recognition, I feel the need to at least poke at it a little bit more...
...ahem...
I agree that you should call a specific heavyweight out.
That's all I have to say. Well, that, and I don't think you should grab your ball and go home. Despite the drama that always manages to creep into PUMMEL, the actual competition is quite fun. It's all for fun and a great way to not only learn, but if you don't think you have anything to learn, it's a great way to sharpen the skills that you have. I totally understand the feeling of "been there, done that" with the LHW division. I was scrapping for the LHW championship just a few months ago, and now I'm at the bottom of the division because I took a break. I'm going to beat the shit out of as many poor souls that I have to in order to get back to the top, or at least do some great artwork in the process of trying.
It's all about the fun.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it will pay for the search.
I'm your huckleberry. I'll have to dig up my stats, but I think I'm 3 and 2. Haven't fought for awhile and I'm up for a battle, but not pencils only. Feel like going grayscale or full color?
