Epic, your Hulk is bizarre ,yet very interesting. JC, I love the punishment being dealt by your Hulk, but my vote goes to Epic.

Nothing's like a blaster at yer side.
Epic, is the Hulk taking a crap? Seriously I have no idea what he's doing. I see some pretty good rendering. I can't seem to find the horizon and it looks like there is some wonky perspective that throws me off. Being one point persepective and from where the main focus of the camera is, the vanishing point should be somewhere around the Hulk's chest. So that means we should be looking up to the buildings but they are flat. And unless the cars behind him are on a hill thebe should be down further. So the piece just seems kind of off.
Good start out of the gate though! Glad you came out swinging!
Epic's Hulk is very Cully Hamner-esque (which is a compliment - I love the guy). Both pieces have weak backgrounds, but Epic's Spider-Man is really great. I went with Epic, but I like a lot of what's going on in Jesse's piece, too.
Besides, Jesse's name is Jesse and my name is Jesse, so I have to compliment him somehow.

I actually like Epic's piece very much. His anatomy is near perfect on both the Hulk and Spider-Man.
It appears that the Hulk just smashed some metal object- a mailbox perhaps? Hulk's head looks great- I love the angle.
I disagree with geekboy's assessment of the background- It's not very detailed, and the perspective is a little off, but overall I think it works. I like all the damage that's been dealt to the various vehicles. It sets the scene and creates a somewhat believable environment.
But the real star of this piece is Spider-Man- he just looks great. His anatomy, how he comes into the scene, his positioning in respect to hulk, and especially his shading, and dynamic action. very well done. This should end with a unanimous knock-out.
"I don't know how to put this, but... I'm kind of a bid deal..."
Thanks for all the votes and discussion in here, everybody. I dig it.
And big time thanks to JC for wanting to do this.
Very impressive, Epic. I dig Spidey's physique and pose. The environment turned out nicely too.

Thank you. Spidey's been my favorite since I was a little boy. My very first comic was an issue of Amazing Spider-Man and it and Mark Bagley were the kick start to my wanting to draw comics for a living back then.
I'll take any chance I get to draw him.
I actually voted for JC here because the topic was Hulk and I like his hulk lots more. It's easy to tell what JC's Hulk is doing and admittedly I dig his style more. That being said, Epic you did some awesome work here. I just think your Hulk looks a little static. Spidey is "epic"? however.Nice job both of you!
