    thanx for the clip. i'll have to try and find this movie now.
    just watched a doc about 1950's russian sci fi films. lots of
    great spacesuits, flying cars and robot designs.old movies are a goldmine of design, costume, etc.
    anyway, great work and thanks for sharing.

    I recently saw Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women

    I like the very first one in the upper left. The more rounded face shield has more of a retro feel to it that works best with the fish sculpt theme running along the top of the helmet. The square face shield is just a little dull. If you have to do a squared off face glass, I recommend making the shape a trapezoid with the top width of the glass being wider than the bottom width.

    Good luckin' stuff.

    hey ecofugal
    the doc was called 'the star dreamer'. it was about the director
    and sfx pioneer pavel klushantsov.there was lots of footage
    and behind the scenes stuff from 'planet of storms'.
