Wacom Tablet Troubleshooting: Jumping Cursor during Short Strokes (for Mac users)

If you own a Mac and are running Photoshop, Painter, ArtRage, SketchBook Pro, or any other digital art software, you may have been experiencing an issue when the cursor would seemingly lag and be unresponsive during very short strokes.

I've had this problem for a while with my older G5 mac, but having recently purchased one of the newer Intel Macs only to find that it was still occuring started to ring alarm bells in my head. Luckily a quick google search produced the following post with a solution that seems obvious in retrospect, check it out:

The blogger, Jeremy Rice, is now officially my new favorite person. I hope y'all find this helpful.

Not quite like letting the air out of the tires but close. You'd think from the sheer number of complaints they'd have that info printed on the box.

Great find. Gold star on the forehead for you.
