    Lingling's got the better drawing.

But J-E-L-L-O stuck with the topic better.

I'm totally down with redesigning the El family, but I swore this one was about redesigning the Kryptonian family on Earth.

Please excuse my Anglo-Saxon. The caption reads: Queen Lois (Truth) and King Kal-El (Justice).

Not Lara and Jor-El, though I do see the resemblance.
Nice work, Jeloschi. Really like the Power Girl especially.

Nah, Lingling's easily still within the theme. Kal-El crashes to Earth in England, circa the middle ages. Comedy ensues! :P It actually is a pretty strong idea and could have had a lot of really neat redesign opportunities, sadly, these two probably wern't the best to showcase.

Jelo, however, brought the whole family out basically. Though i'll note the continued bias against the super horse:P Though a bit more contemporary, and thus a little more inline with what we come to expect of super people, they're all pretty solid. I especially like the supergirl. Though you missed the opportunity to make Krypto a chihuahua

    good work both of ya

So Cal just walks around with a bent sword?

That's pretty awesome. I bet it'd make for interesting dialog.

You know, he was going to be holding a straight sword, and then I thought, what the heck does King Superman need a sword for?

Really like both of these, and think that both Jeloschi and Lingling put a bunch of thought and effort into both. This is one of those cases where I wish we had a "tie" option. I went with Jeloschi's just because it looks more like something out of a Superman comic, but Lingling's characters might make a more interesting read. Nice job to both of you.

The sword represents more than just being a weapon.

    Also, it's a Kryptonite Sword.

    Most Kings didn't need swords.

King Louis-- "So King Kal, What have you in yown hand"
King Kal----" Why King Louis, this is a gift i bestow on you"
King Louis--"Well, I didn't expect to see your unsheathed bent sword so soon"

It's also not his sword. His sword is 26 feet long and weighs 700 pounds.
