So, I'm just about to get into this series. I just got DMC 1&2 for PS2 and 3 for PC. My question is, should I play the new one first then the old or is it better to go with the older ones to get the feel of the series before playing the new one?

I'd say play it in order 1, 2, 3. I had fun seeing the stories develop as they were going backward. Also, I'd personally skip 2. 1 and 3 are the must play.

What exactly is polished/changed? He still sorta looks like the Dante every one was hating on a few months back or so.

Vergil was always handsome; it's just now he's "Twilight" handsome as opposed to "Classic anime bishounen" handsome.

I can't wait for this game to come out so it will bomb and hopefully put Ninja Theory out of business.

I just ordered DMC 4 off ebay so I'll probably play all of them in order. I don't like skipping even the bad ones. Besides, I already bought it and I hate to waste money. I just played God Of War 1&2 for the first time and really enjoyed it. Just looking to play games similar to that. Currently playing the Ghost Rider game for PS2....it's pretty good too. I'll probably buy a PS3 at some point in the future but PC & PS2 are keeping me busy. I read that the DMC series is sort of similar to GOW & Darksiders so I'm hoping to get into them.

I just ordered DMC 4 off ebay so I'll probably play all of them in order. I don't like skipping even the bad ones. Besides, I already bought it and I hate to waste money. I may just do that. I want a PS3 anyway for the God OF War games in HD as well as GOW 3. It makes me a little peeved that they don't release ALL games cross platform. I spent $1700 on building a kick ass gaming PC and at a year and a half old, it still cranks out some wicked graphics and game play. And the HDMI to TV looks five times better than anything I've seen at my friend's house who has a PS3 & 360. I honestly don't care what I play them on as long as I can play them but I just don't like the idea of spending so much money and having to find room for all the consoles when I already have something that does a great job...just can't get the console exclusives on PC. And I do have DMC4 coming for PC. The youtube videos look pretty good. It was only about $15 off ebay.
