Wow indeed! Three strong showings! President your rendering is beautiful, but your proportions are a little off. Juggertha, I like your sequentials except for the colors. Maybe a bit more saturation in places for variation. Richdraws, I have to tell you man, your image really struck me. The drama of this super being in quiet repose set against a background of such utter carnage is moving. You got my vote.

This was hard because Juggy brought SO much to the table and I love the fire... but Rich brought the drama... SERIOUS drama... and I am in love with his cool-ass colors... President had a fun piece, but for some reason Sentry looks a bit stumpy to me... and also again... Rich's colors...

I have to say, Rich is my winner.

wait... Rich's isn't supposed to be funny? I thought he was trying to say that Sentry was a treehugging superman ripoff ladyman?

I was sooo sorely tempted to make the image much more obvious of my contempt for the Surfs Up Superman Mincing rip off.

I know Juggertha really poured a lot into his, but there are so many things that bug me about his entry that I just can't vote for it.

President has got some major proportion issues with his entry.

richdraws, I know you did this quick. I get that. But damned if I can't stop myself for voting for it.

Well, I'm not aware of any "Surf's Up Superman Mincing". I was reminded of the Miracleman comic where the "Black Adam" character goes apeshit all over London. The cover shows him clutching the severed head of one of his victims. John Totleben penciled and I think inked the Alan Moore script. A great comic that I totally relived after seeing Rich's drawing.

Amazing jobs one and all ... but my vote went to Juggs on this one.

Pres>This is an awesome piece but there is just something about how the figure looks a little stumped that is getting to me. There are a lot of months that this would have been a winner though.

Rich> The fact that I know this is a quick piece from you ... well it fills me with an INNER RAGE ... oppps ... sorry it was suppose to be inner ... . This is a awesome piece and I would love to see it completely realized, but I don't think the Sentry really looks anguished about the damaged cause. It looks like he is pouting to me ... and that is throwing me off.

Juggs> Damn fine piece m8 .. I love the story telling and the action here ... and you didn't try to give Tony a chance ... he just got his butt handed to him ... which is the way it should be.
