Shoot for 10-15 minutes.
All mediums are permitted, but, traditional mediums are encouraged.
This is not a competition, the goal here is to reinterpret the image as best you can within the time limit.
Keep the drawing fairly loose and fluid.
Try blocking in quick shapes.
Maintain composition as best as you can. If you want to change the figure so its more fun, that's fine, just try to maintain the actual overall composition.
Try to add values to help bring out the form.
No Tracing.
Try not to use an overlay.
Try not to use a color picker if painting digitally. Try to train your eye to identify colors.
Try not to get too hung up on the details. Instead, focus more on the overall composition and basic anatomy 1st. Details after if time permits.
Again this is new to me so if anyone has any suggestions for improvements or tips and pointers please let me know.

I think this is my first time posting in this group. I picked the church; I set a timer for 15 minutes, and this is what I had when I was done. I was pleasantly surprised. As usual I didn't block it out so I chopped off the top; I'll have to work on that in the future.

hmm.. i didn't get to see the original image but these sketches definitely wish I hadn't missed it!
Quick , get it while you cane before the photonazis take it down again.
Now that really makes it a speed drawing group. Draw it before they take down the image lol.
