So Superherohype confirms that there was a Second End Credit Sequence filmed and inserted at the end of the North American copies of the film. So do they have the same history, culture, religion as such as the Skrull? I mean, the Skrull are a very established race in the Mervel U... I thought these guys were from the Ultimates side of things.

LOL in fairness to my friend I made him sit through the Iron Man 2 credits and the end scene was not really worth it. It was certainly not worth his constant complaints and mockery.

OHHHH. EMMMM. GEEEE. The AVENGERS is that good ya'll! Going back to see it as soon as super-humanly possible. Stay through the credits. ALL the credits. A geek sleeps with a smile tonite thanks to ACURA for the free mini-sneak. Might have to unbag some comics to read under the covers. So many in jokes from the comics. Its light and deep at the same time. Only knock and SUPER MINOR knock is the generic-ness of the baddie race. You could tell everyone involved had a great time.

Yes, the Chitauri are supposed to be the Ultimate versions of the Skrulls but both are completely different from each other. The only similarity is that they can both shape shift but that ability is missing in the film as you know. I would've loved to have seen a fight with Cap and the Chitauri leader like in the Ultimates but its a disney movie and we can't have that kind of violence.
