I like some of the single elements like the anatomy and lighting, but all together it looks odd. It looks like she's trying to catch a football. The placement of the tree is also very odd. The way there's no visible floor to ground the tree makes it seem like they're both floating in space. I would also up the contrast on the tree trunk to give it more form. I begins to look like a river over yellow sand towards the bottom. I think the hip to waist ratio is also a bit off, but it can still work.
    4/5 on the Spidey scale.

Man, I'd love to have that kind of control over traditional color medium. Despite the issues mentioned above, it's still a strong piece. Could you possibly in the future, post a step by step of your painting process? On a quick sketch, nothing too intricate. I and I'm sure alot of us would greatly appreciate the insight.

Consider it done. I don't have much control over the process yet, it's quite painstaking. I am trying to do my monthly pummel piece so will use that to show my workings and process.

i like the colors on vampi. but, to me, it looks like she is doing a weird balancing act on a tree brach with her belly above a pool of yellow.
