Higher ranks, please send your subject to your opponent! I have no problem with lower ranks PM'ing their partners to remind them to get them a subject ASAP. Entries are due by May 22nd at 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time.. When you finish your piece, PM the link to your opponent, and post it here. The Pummeler to finish second has to post the poll. If the second person doesn't finish, the first person will have proof that they finished a piece, and there's less confusion that way.

If you are not going to participate this month, let me know ASAP so we can place your partner in another match.

Congrats to our new flavaricanprince!!! However, because of some key losses and an EXCELLENT win/loss record our former champ Manji gets an INSTANT rematch. We will see how it plays out this time.

We say goodbye to Mase and Travis, BUT we welcome Inkthinker and Dri. So the numbers stay the same.

Important:

Firstly, you guys need to let me know when you have heard from, or contacted by your ranked partner.

Secondly, in an effort to avoid the many lost matches that we had last month we commissioners have discussed a several new rules and we are going to continue to implement them.

THE WITHDRAWL DATE IS APRIL 3RD
So that means that up until the 3rd you can pull out of THIS months ranked matches with only a drop of 2 ranks, we would just call it a loss. However, after the 3rd you are AUTOMATICALLY a NoShow if you have to pullout.

This rule is really meant to stem some of the guys who often NoShow at the last minute, and it has been a rule we have been enforcing by collapsing matches; there was just NEVER a firm date. So after some discussion we have decided that this is a fair amount of time (over a week since the matches were posted). Now I don't know if this will be the monthly day. It just gives guys who are collapsed into matches time to get organized and produce a piece.

Also, please keep your eyes out for an update to the Rules and Regulations thread as we commissioners try to clean it up a bit and have all of the rules in one easy to access area.

As for it being fixed ... well it was a tie ... and SFs determined the matches. I guess they are good for somehing ...

It's true Steetfights and KOs are the key to tie breakers. It's also true that in Batman Begins when Batman and Gordon are trapped in the tower of Arkham and they can't figure out how to get out and get Rachel to safety and then like Batman tells Gordon "He's calling for backup" And then Batman presses that button on the heel of his boot and all the bats start flooding the place just like from that part in Batman Year One by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli, (who I frikkin' love wow is Mazzucchelli underrated or what?) man anyway when that happened. I cried. I totally cried tears of joy.

Glad to hear you can get into the subject material.

I have to admit that I was a little worried that people may be a bit off since there are 2 rematches in the HeavyWeights this month ....... but with the dropouts and the way the tie breakers fell things are just what they are.
