Wow...just wow...their usage as a Library seems to work or I'm sure they would have been taken down long ago.
There are several series I will be reading through over the next few days. Thanks G.

"Swiper no Swiping" - da da da Dora the Explorer
I'm not some kind of elitist or anything, and I'm no anti-pirate, but I don't see how anyone can read a comic page that's formatted for print on a wide screen monitor. It just drives me crazy. Besides that, though, this is a great resource. Good link.
Yeah i agree, maybe it will get better with those ipadish devices.
Its cool just to look at the artwork tho at work, lol
hey they got Atari Force

The scans are kinda lo-res and hard to read. Still, bookmarked.

Whf... man, I don't know what to do with that. Despite their legal library claim, I feel like this is something I should be cutting out in the interest of our "no pirate links" policy.
But by the same measure, there's a LOT of obscure stuff there that I don't know if one can easily find any other way, and I feel like they're genuinely trying to establish something other than a means by which you can just DL a ton of comics without paying for them.
I'm feeling heavily conflicted, but I'm leaning towards the thought that this is going to have to go away, guys.
I'll refer it to the mod board before I pull the thread, though.
i wasn't trying to start a problem. and i am pretty sure they can not be downloaded, only looked at. eric larsen was talking about it on his site and i read about it on imwan.com. i figured people here would have already found it. i like that now when i think to myself, "what issue was that...?" i might be able to get the answer easier.

It's cool, man. I can see how this is more of a resource than anything, and I'm not one to argue with Erik Larsen.
You're right, downloading from this site isn't as easy as "Right-Click-Save-As" and from what I can see browsing through it, they're not offering a lot in contemporary content for sale on the rack right now (though some of this is available for sale in collected editions). Most of what I see so far is older material, much of it out-of-print, and I think it could serve a very good purpose.
Terry has a strict policy of not linking to sites that offer scans of comics for download, partly because we want to support creators and publishers as much as we can, and partly to protect PJ from legal blowback (unlikely, but he doesn't need the hassle). It's that policy which is my main concern, but this might be slightly different than the usual.
