Somehow I think you may be misunderstanding me-- I draw comics full-time. If I were going to do finished pieces every week for the WSG, that'd dramatically reduce the output of what I get paid to do... and that's not about to happen. I do sketches here because it's a fun exercise-- a great way to loosen up before starting the next sequential on my to-do list. I enjoy the visceral challenge of pushing myself to create a decent piece in a short amount of time as well-- it helps train me to hit deadlines better and do better work in general. Add in working on subjects I typically don't get to do with my regular work, and it's an all-around awesome idea.

In no way am I saying everyone has to live by that standard, nor am I imposing some absurd rule. Also, ya wanna polish something up? Rock on.

Personally, I like seeing all of the work in this thread whether it be a sketch or a fully inked and colored piece. For me it's about time, All I usually have time to do is a relatively quick sketch because even though I don't draw comics full time, I do have some projects I work on in my spare time and I don't have a lot of spare time. This is a great exercise for me because if forces me to draw things I wouldn't normally draw and it helps me to get faster, which I really need!
I did say in one of my posts that I felt bad posting a sketch when there are a lot of pics here that are a lot more finished but, I was only joking, I say do what you want to do or what you have time for and have fun instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing!

I must have got the wrong end of the stick. Not uncommon lol. Yeah everyone just do what you want. Your work is awesome by the way.

    Wow, likeness is hard.

This one I'm happier with, starting to feel more like 'my' version of Buffy/SMG.
