Looks really good, Chiboy! Impressive, considering it's only your 2nd attempt at digital painting! What program are you digitally painting with?

very nice. could prolly nitpick but i think the only glaring thing looks off is the lighting on the scarf thingie.

    Thanks.

    I'm using Photoshop.

Yes, I agree on the cape/scarf. Will try and correct.

Second attempt? Really? You inspire me to start doing digital painting.

    Well done. Some nit picks.

You're obviously using model or photo, but don't be a slave to your reference.

The lines under her neck may be there in real life, but they age her. Her body posture is relaxed, so her neck shouldn't look strained. Save that for the action shots.

The rim lighting on the left arm looks odd. Since we see most of it on her right side, this seems out of place.

Since this is in progress I'm hoping the fabric and the sword will have different textures.

Looking forward to seeing how you handle the background.

it seems like she is resting the heavy sword on her shoulder. that would be very painful. her skin looks very well colored. i like it.

First, that's awesome. Everything seems to be coming along nicely.
Second, something that bothers me a little, her right arms seems really, really stiff. Almost painfully so. Maybe if you relaxed her elbow and her hand? I would suggest resting her hand on her hip but I think everybody does that...
