    Thanks Kae_ae!

I think they all brought the rock.

kae_ae - probably the best at capturing the feel of a live show (bonus: Great Hank quote!)
McNiel - disturbing and funny. Way to take just the description of the album cover and illustrate it (they don't actually show the original cover in the movie, do they?)
Anim8r13 - awesome tie-in (Iron Man / Iron Man), super tight drawing. You could've played up the Black Sabbath/Tony Stark mashup a bit more imo.
Ebernaught - great likenesses. Recognized all three without the caption. I think the title text distracts from the illustration, though.
T minus zero - fat Gene Simmons = many lols (but where's his arms?)
scmarooney - as i said before, gotta love the D. Love the inclusion of the Rock Icons: Gene, Robert, and Angus. my only (minor) gripe is i can't tell if the crowd is being burned alive or covered in cheese sauce (probably the color). Definitely the most epic illustration in the lineup.

But i had to give it up to Ridge. That scene is just classic, and details like the headless bat dripping in the wine glass totally take it over the top. Nice work.

Great stuff this month, everyone! I went with casecp's psychedelic Hendrix pic.

That must be it. I used a six foot joke when I should have stuck with a five-eight.

You bring up a good point though. Every month I see one or two pieces that really deserve more attention than they get. This month that dubious honor goes to scmarooney. The characters, the symbolism, the story elements, great caricatures, it's all there and it's all fun. Get's my vote.

kae_ae - Fantastic piece. The style really conveys the ethereal quality of the band while Plants light radiating from Pages brooding darkness captures the essence. A close, and I mean close, second.
McNiel - David St. Hubbins would be proud. I think this is some of your strongest work to date. A great pop culture/metal moment.
Anim8r13 - Fun crossover and really solid work. Love the Pete Townshend windmill nod.
Ebernaught - Can't argue with you there. Nice tribute.
T minus zero - Ha! The Demon wishes he looked that good. C'mon, you can tell us, he ate his arms didn't he?
caseycp - Love the hidden symbols in the 'fro, almost missed 'em. This would make one hell of a black light poster. Very nice.

kae_ae- I really like this piece. You are the master at sketches, let's see some finished work.
Anim8r13- Solid piece. A little bland for my taste. Either colors or a background and this would completely rock.
scmarooney- My number three pick. Rocking piece. Your work is getting better and better all the time.
Ridge- My number two pick Great stuff with Ozzy and the French waiter from Meaning of Life.
Ebernaught- Excellent work on three legends. The digital coloring of Guitar Heroes is distracting from your colored pencils.
T minus zero- Trying to take my MSPaint crown? Fat demon is pretty funny. I would explain the lack of arms as an homage to Spinal Tap's Intravenous DeMilo.
caseycp- My number one pick. Excellent psychedelic Hendrix. I agree with Ridge, this would make an excellent black light poster.

Yep- they only discuss the original album cover, but we never see it.
