What did you use to color on that last one?

Some crappy colored pencils i got at barnes and noble for $5. Theyre not great, but theyre small and i can fit 20 of them in my pocket drawing kit.

These smaller drawings are quite fun to do, this ones on two pages of my 5x3 moleskine i keep in my back pocket. Most everything from the last year thats colored is in it. Its kind of a challange working small and feet get cut off a lot though.

I have more of a problem working big myself.. probably because I always just doodle figures in my sketchbook.

That's cool that you did all the color in colored pencil, I've been thinking of getting a set myself just to play. I'm in an experimental phase apparently.

I like the way this turned out, didn't even realize it was in a moleskin til you mentioned it, can barely see the seem in the scan.

channeling Tod Mcfarline in a small way here, was in a bit of a cyberpunk mood so I did some of my favorite Anime ever, Armitage III

kinda wish I hadn'd put the neon pipe thing on the right side there though, dunno what I was thinking.

the whole time we were talking my daughter kept re-arranging the brushes and paints for me, I'm surprised she didn't take the phone away and demand to speak to you!

working on this a bit while im on graveyard shift at work. not much goes on so there's plenty of time to sketch!



been having a few brainstorms on this project, considering shelving Pistoleer for the time being and developing this as a webcomic.
