What were you using to create the poster? Photoshop?

Its actually a business card.
I typed the text out in MS word, then printed it off at work to see how it would look on paper, then taped the sketch to it which I had reduced on the copier

Once i got off work i just scanned the whole thing rather than retype it just so I wouldn't have to waste time formatting it. Took longer to do it that way, but wasting an hour at work and taking a minute to scan it is better than monkeying around on my own time when theprinters going to probably redo the text anyway.

What do you think of the "thrilling sequental narrative" stuff? Is it too cheesy?

well not cheesy but a little wordy,lol.. might have more umph in a font that kinda reflects the old west?

It feels like that old world kinda lingo so that's cool.

There's some nice work in here Man. Like the sketches of your kids,I gotta try that some time.But I did notice you tend to draw your western Firearms a bit big.some you've drawn are the size of some sub machine guns.other than that keep up the fine work.

Hey, thanks Steve! I appreciate that. I need to do some more of my kids, they're a hoot. My daughter's my number one pose reference tool. The boy is mostly good at getting into my markers and drawing geometric dessigns on the sheets.

I agree with you on the gun thing, on the one hand I like the sense of drama a big piece of iron conveys, and its nice to be able to get all that detail in there. But on the other hand I don't really exaggerate anything else that much, and it would be more suited to a cartoony style. Ill keep trying to shrink 'em down.

all done with multicolored mechanical pencil lead set. had no yellow though, wierd. youd think theyd have at least all the primary colors

so heres where I went last weekend, a how to improve your marrage seminar. the meals were good, but the actual seminar part was pretty boring. got to have the dirty hotel sex though. I spent a lot of time doodling on my notebook, and em was just happy to have something to watch. oh well, guess our marriage couldn't be improved upon.

did these two at work today while waiting for sprinklers to prime.

there was some lady at the seminar who was missing a canine tooth, and it looked kind of charming in a rough way, trying to add it to my charecter Albany's features, but she just came out looking kind of "Special" if you know what I mean.


felt like drawing some boobs. link is probably NSFW but not terribly explicit, unless you find someone groggily getting out of bed offensive.

these are from the sketchbook I've been carryingaround in my pocket, these small ones are becoming my favorites to do, I can work on one for a little while, get back to whatever I was doing, and so forth.


charecters from a comic about a Band I'm working on, the lead singer's chewing out a crooked club owner.

all .05 mechanical pencil lead of varying colors,


used a set of 20 colored pencil stubs I cut down so they'd all fit in the little altoids tin I keep in my pocket, I've got my 10 cm Zebra .05 mech pencil, extra lead, an eraser, some blending stumps, and 20 colors to choose from at any given time. I say it's cool, my wife finds it bizzare.I've been on a real DBZ kick since I got those big volumes at borders for 90% off. I'm a big trunks fan, android 18's pretty dang cool


this months Pummel entry, still want to work on the inks some and color it, rather happy with it except it kinda looks like Bob's trying to take a crap.

haven't been able to get many things scanned or drawn for that matter lately, buddy from work took my little sketchbook home to scan a few things for me. can't really get anything done since my father in law's computer bit the big one.

here's one for WSG 210 I was never able to get scanned, Julia Carpenter Spider woman. she could make webs appear with her mind or something, I dunno. thought she was hotter than Jessica Drew


Family as simpsons for WSG 208, was never able to get a good scan, crappy cellphone pics don't cut it.


listened to the third eragon book to and from work, and dragons are tough for me to draw. not that great, but I was pleased with the coloring and the mountains.



wanted to do some Pistoleer stuff, Rye and the Blood Bay conduct an interrogation at the local bar.


Neon Neuron was kind enough to draw THIS so I thought I'd draw me some tattoo'd rock star asassin


I need a bleeding scanner... and a computer that isn't at a library. *sigh*
