I think if Vince had a finished piece it would have gotten my vote--but despite the problems in anatomy, etc., I have to go with Thordad for doing a good complete scene.

I don't get all the little Photoshop "smudgings" on Thordad's entry. They are highly distracting.

thordad. I like what u got going despite technical issues but the biggest thing I'd remark on is to think out the comp 1st. Because its apparent that you started with torso n above and the bike n lower body looks like it tacked on mid drawing.

Try n look at art of biker chicks e.g. Dirty pair, always start with the ride 1st, then the figure.

I feel the same way. Additionally, In my opinion there shouldn't be any obvious photoshop "enhancement" if the medium restrictions are just Pencil/ink.

The photoshop enhancements were some erasing and adjusting of tonal values and a slight smudge near the rear tire as I had to blend in my splice ( I have a small ass scanner ) , that is all. Also I was asked by my competitor if digital inks were allowed in the challenge , to me that opened up the use of digital media in conjunction with the traditional. Most people adjust their pencil tones and clean up their pieces using photoshop , I just used the same techniques but in different areas and to different degrees .
I am not entirely pleased with the photoshop manips either , something I was working with . I will either get it right at somepoint or just not use it any more. Live and Learn
