Thread: Thor Vs Captain Marvel

It is a good drawing. But it is a purely fictional account.

I'm kinda biased on this one. Except for Spider-Man, Magneto, and Super-Skrull, I much more prefer DC's characters over Marvel's. I also always just enjoyed captain Marvel more than Thor.CM does also have the power of six gods (Solomon was not a god!) as opposed to Thor's one. Thor would have more brutality and warrior experience, though. And wouldn't be feeling good for CM if Thor's hammer did it's thing. However, I'd just have to put CM for the win.
(Typing all that just made me realize how much time I have on my hands. I need a life.)

If Thor's lightning hit Captain Marvel the right way would he turn back into a boy?

theres no way shazam could win. before billy batson can even yell shazam the odinson raises mighty mjolnir, halting the lightning.

"huh?" billy wonders, before he is knocked unconcious by a swat from thor

Thor beats up little kids? What a jerk!

This is not Billy Batson versus Thor, but Captain Marvel vs. Thor. Thor has no knowledge that Billy Batson is Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel has no knowledge that Thor could be Donald Blake. Captain Marvel's powers are derived from calling out the name of the wizard Shazam. It is not derived from regular lightning. The Captain has too much on his "son", Thor.

either way, thor wins. all he has to do is summon lightning to hit captain marvel, wether he knows it turns him back into batson or not.

not to mention the odinforce? giddadaheah

Yes I forgot about the new Thor. Okay, then the Captain as is would lose. But if it is the Trials of Shazam with the Wizard Shazam's powers, perhaps not.

    Hm.

Thor is physically stronger than Superman based on canon.

Captain Marvel beats Superman because of magic.

I'm not a Captain Marvel aficionado, but I'd wager Thor would win based on experience.

He's faced other gods and has been fighting for a long time.

If I'm wrong about Thor's experience advantage, let me know.
