I would say that you should pare down your style to a bare-bones style that isn't overly reliant upon a lot of rendering. Focus on shapes, gestures, expressions. Keep the number of panels down per page. Keep a timer handy and give yourself a certain amount of time per task per page. Economize where possible and have a lot of coffee or energy-drinks available!
