So I sat here realizing what I've been doing wrong. Never once made a script or even outline for the comic I've been working on, I had been doing the pages by memory of what is to happen next. Thus it was messing me up since I've looked back and saw all of the mistakes in the previous pages. My new mission is to get the comic's script finished and remodel the comic completely as well as improve my drawing ability. So all the feedback and advice I've been getting has been awesome! You all are awesome. It's really the first real criticism I've ever gotten, because while dA is a cool place if you aren't drawing whats trending like gay porn or my little pony, most people wont even give the unknown artists like myself the time of day. This is why I'm happy I found PJ because like minded people & willing to help an beginner out to better improve themselves. Though trust me, this blog post isn't about kissing
Posting this image just to see if it works:
I'll be giving a demo at The 2012 Long Beach Comic & Horror Con on Nov.4th at 2:00. I will show you step-by-step how to prepare a digital template for comics using Adobe Illustrator. Learn basic tools and other apps to use. Bring your laptop and you can follow along and leave with your own template ready to create your own comics and graphic novels! This process will also work for InDesign, QuarkXpress and Manga Studio.
As a bonus, I will take you through the process from pencils,
