The critiques have been a little drowsy lately. Let's ramp things up a bit. I challenge everyone to take the time to provide constructive critiques on 4 items every week.

Anyone prepared to join me?

I like where you are going with this thread but I think it could've have used a little more flair. Next time try including some humor or an incentive. A guilt trip could also work really well.

That being said I still like the overall vibe of the thread and great job on your spelling.

I could do a write over if you want.

Okay.

You all get so much from this site, and give so little back. Do you really think that is fair? (Guilt trip)

For anyone who gives 4 crits per week for 6 straight weeks, I promise I won't poop on their lawn (incentive plus humor)

Human poo is a terrible fertilizer.

I will try to ramp mine up, but I make no promises. It's hard to do good critiques at work when I shouldn't be online and I rarely have time at home.

At least until January anyway.

Four a week seems an almost-too-easy goal. Just my speed.

I'm in.

Oh, and for this...

Everyone who doesn't do it is a sissy.

Hey I'm doing it, I even posted a draw over this week. Draw over...is that even a word?

Plus I've already critiqued the please critique thread.

BOOYAH!

You guys guilt won't work. You got to use threats. How about if you don't critique four time or more per week we'll send Brokenhill to you house with a sledgehammer.

Brokenhill doesn't need a sledgehammer. Brokenhill IS a sledgehammer.

On a serious note, I'm going to make a concerted effort to crit more. It'll probably all happen over the weekend (more time). It's really been bugging me that I haven't been critiquing as much as I used to.

I'm happy to say that Ugga won't be pooping on my lawn anytime soon.

Is there a way you can install a program on PJ that lets you hit a button on this forum that will allow you to pick a “Random Thread” in the “Finished Work”, “Sketches & Works in Progress”, and “Sequential Art” threads. This would make it fun to do C&C. Some what like spin the bottle.

At the top of the page under Shortcuts click "todays posts" or click "New Posts" at the top of the page and choose a thread from those boards. Closest thing to random select there is.

I do that already. :D

It just don’t have that random feel when you can read the title of the thread before clicking on the link.

i might try this, i think it would be great to pick 1 day a week and a close time frame so we can blow up the boards with positive critiquin, know that we are doin it, and maybe boost participation
