Just something that should be clear. I know some people want to do sequentials for their entries... but sequentials are not and shouldn't be an obligation.

To clarify, the subjects should be broad and property based... like Spiderman, Hulk, Batman... and so on. Then you can do whatever you want within that broad guideline. Matches that pit sequentials against pin-ups are fine. But subjects can't be so confined as to make your opponent do sequentials.

I don't think that's how it works man - there's no delays with PUMMEL. The deadline is the deadline. I believe this was already addressed in another thread, but there can be no exceptions with a tourney like this, otherwise everyone will be setting their own schedule, so no exceptions can be made. I'm excited to see what you and Flavaricanprince came up with, but the polls must be posted by 10/22 11:59 pm Eastern time. Them's the rules.

I think there's been a couple instances where someone has dropped out of PUMMEL completely and their opponent got a free pass. I always kinda considered those submission victories. If your opponent no shows without saying so, then I expect to see your entry or its a loss for each. That's how I've been handling it.

Either way, I'm not going to let someone drop 4 spots if they were lead to believe their opponent wasn't going to show up.

There should have been better communication between Jared and CBA regardless.

Well I did bow out on the 28th, but then I changed on my mind later that day.
I thought about how in a real situation even if I didnt want to draw I would have to.
So I edited my post within that day, and went ahead and made something.

So she knew I was in. I doubt she even knew I wasnt going to participate at first. I didnt think anyone noticed...

This is just a reminder that registering with multiple user names to vote for yourself will result in you being disqualified from your match and from PUMMEL entirely.

I'm not saying this due to any particular suspicion, other than there's been a handful of new accounts activated lately with no history other than to vote in PUMMEL. Apologies for my lack of communication. I have had little time for this board over the last month. The deadline for some particularly heavy work fell over the deadline. I was unaware that Jared had initially not intended to participate this round.

I would like to remove myself from this tournament. I entered for the wrong reasons and will only further disappoint and future matches, I don't want to waste your time anymore than i already have. Honestly I entered because of peer pressure and not to improve my art.

Also over the last few months I haven't really felt very creative with a pencil, focusing a bit more on other fields. Creative slump isn't an excuse though.

Not official yet. Alex informed me that he will have to drop out of PUMMEL due to a very busy schedule. So there's at least one shake up. Unless he decides to come back or someone else ranked above you drops out, you might be going up against Inkthinker again.
