I voted middleweight , reason being is not your skill with color that may actually be heavyweight , but rendering the basic drawing in of itsself is not that strong , its a layout colored very very nicely .
trust me , middleweights can take you to town on rendering at this point , I will demonstrate in our challenge .
Color gets a lot of votes around these parts but you got to be damn consistent Manji , Slam , Archeion, Alfred183 ( all different weightclasses ) would give you a run for your money

Ah, I didn't post my ink work. Maybe they would have went better. But I figure maybe I should have posted something with colors for some reason.
This is kinda the problem I have with these weigh-in's. It only allows one piece of art.
I say your inked sequentials are better for the weigh in.
Much stronger than this and much more finished.
Some elements in the above pic are unresolved.

Meh, it will be fun to do a few middleweights I suppose. :)
I voted Heavyweight. I think everyone has their strongsuit that differentiates their work from others. I wouldnt compare i aspect of their work to everyone elses but look at the drawing as a whole and how well they represent their own work.

3eye, why didn't you use the full version of your avatar? IIRC, it was pretty sweet!

Another case of the masses being overly stingy with their heavyweight votes.

You heavyweights have set the bar extremely high, Bovey. With that said, I see some aspects of this piece that scream "HEAVYWEIGHT," but then other parts of it look middleweight. But then, I look at ThreeEyesWorm's devart gallery, and I see the potential of some great heavyweight head-to-head matches. Some of that stuff on devart is insane. So I voted heavyweight based on that.

Whoa, thanks to everyone who voted heavyweight! I was surprised to see that it's tied between heavy and middle.
alfred183, well, because it's kinda in an indie-type style and because it's an old picture from last year and because I kinda moved away from that style since then.
mana-boozy, yeah, in hindsight I should have just posted one of my inked pictures.

Agreed.

This piece is Middleweight, but some of your sketch blog images have really impressed me, so I went with Heavy.
