PSF: Jaguar Wong vs DemonX01 - Daredevil

I really liked the angle in DemonX01's so I voted for that one. I also thought - not to be overly critical because it is really cool too -- that in Jaguar's it looks like DD is attacking a bunch of kids.

Well those kids shouldn't be screwing around within earshot of DD then. I like it BECAUSE it looks like hes kicking kids asses. I went w/ Jag on this, although i REALLY like Demon's too. Both are nice.

Man mine looks bare next to Demon's. He did a great job with the angle and that lead hand looks great. I wish I had the speed to do my Parkour inspired piece, but this was still a fun relaxng piece to do.

It took me a while to make my decision. Both are awesome, even though the perspective in demon X's piece is amazing, I felt that Daredevil is kinda copy pasted in front, the characters just flow very nice in Jaguar's piece, it kind of feels less forced. And I love the fact that he's beating up kids :D Could've dropped my vote eitherway, but decisions have to be made !

I had to go w/ Jaguar love the energy , I liked demons but the composition was very strange looks like hes committing suicide IE falling to his death.

I love the sense of action and movement in Jaguars, but yeah... the large heads on the thugs is a distraction and makes them look child like.

Demon's is nice as well, but the background being straight on like that kinda kills the motion and takes away from a possible dynamic feel that's shown by the pose. A tilting or warping of the camera as far as the background goes... or even a feet first worm's eye pose of DD would have made more sense.

Tough call here.

LOL I didn't even notice the big heads until after I scanned it in and adjusted the levels. Originally I drew DD's head too big, redrew it and didn't pay enough attention to the thugs (got lazy?). Close match, though.

Voted for demon. I'm a sucker for background. It was close, though. If Jaguar has made DD beat up a nun, he would definitely have gotten my vote.

A bit of denotation of a ceiling to the sky on Demons piece would pull it together perfectly . Otherwise an very well rendered piece.
Jaguars nicely done action nicely rendered as well .

For me its merely a style preference as I feel both are equally as well accomplished pieces of work .

My vote goes to Demons piece.

If Jaguar's piece had had any kind of solid backround ... I think I would have gone his way.

However, Demon ... dude you never fail to impress me with your artistic efforts. Damn fine piece
