hanzou, thats fuggin awesome.

wouldve been nice if you used an actual MVC background, but i digress. lol.

TK, is that supposed to be rogue? i dont remember her wearing that outfit in MvC

it's rogue, I take freedome in all designs that are as highly reproduced as these are. What she acctually wears ingame is irrelevant Megaman never had shoulderpads or kneepads either. Nor Captain america a hood.

Just saying if your gonna nitpick go the whole mile.

ah i see...i was asking because when i first looked at it i had no idea who that was...then i was like ooh the hair, must be rogue.

Hanzou's is pretty awesome. Nice storytelling, flows well, awesome colors.

TK's has some nice things going for it, but I thought a lot of the poses had stiff gestures and the composition doesn't flow as well as it could. Needs some kind of focal point or grounding element IMO.

also no fair hanzou pulling the sequential card :(

very nice though not a huge fan of spideys eyes but otherwise very nice.

Also could you post the larger version I sent you? Cause I put alot of effort into the inks and they're not really showing at their fullest here.

Sorry about that TK, I thought I did post the larger one.

Should be fixed now.

As for Spidey's eyes, they do look a bit wonky. I really rushed those last 2 panels, so I'll fix them eventually.

Great job on yours. I appreciate the street fight. We should definitely do it again sometime....

well it was a joke no fair , it was a whiney no fair you should know me better than that. I'm not whiney I'm angry.

and hanzou that's coo. Just happy the big ones up now it looks so much better I think. also I feel ya on the rushed thing I was stressing out near the end and coudln't figure out how to do Captain america or Ruby heart so they ended up pretty crappy. But the rest I'm pretty damn happy with.

and we should definately do it again, it looks like I'm gonna need some revenge.

not sure what you mean a grounding element Bovey I think the composition flows well you're gonna have to elaborate.

It's a paraphrase from a A League of Their Own, where he says "Are you crying? There's no CRYING in BASEBALL!"

When I looked at it, it seemed patchy to me, almost collage like with 3 different elements. There's not a real strong element that ties them all together, so my eye wonders all over. When I say grounding element, I mean a focal point that immediately draws the viewers attention... and then also helps guide the viewer through the piece.

JOE VS THE VOLCANO!!!!!! ( snicker snicker ha ha )

Both pieces have really great elements to them , a lot of hard work is evident in both pieces .
At first TK I felt your piece was a bit static in compostion but after really looking at it your composition is linear and vertical which flows very nicely with your lettering graphic in the background.
Hanzou very nicely done all around
My vote is with Hanzou this time .

What Nick said.

Also, we really need to press on people to make these polls public.

I wish there was a way to enforce it, or even edit the poll as an Admin/Moderator. Hopefully that will be a functional part of the updated software once we get it.
