for a second I thought Deadpool ripped out that kids tongue, that would have been way more badass. STill got my vote though, Ballpoints just feels too static.

NICE
Good solid drawing from both and I love the whimsical humor you both brought to them .
This is a tough choice
Pop I really love your piece man , only thing that bugs me is the background blacks they are just a bit choppy for me and I think if anything it detracts from the rest of your beautiful pencils , I think maybe if you inked just that part in or smoothed out the pencils a bit with the shading in the back .
Ballpoint I dig your piece man , its not the style I prefer but its incredibly well done .
I am going to have to take some time to figure this one out

I noticed that both Deadpools pop out of their background frame. Good call for both of you :)
Tough choice. I'll decide tomorrow.
Both very well drawn. popninja went the extra mile with a solid finish in inks, but Ballpoint made me laugh with the icecream runner. I'll decide on my next visit.

You got the artists mixed up, bro. Voted BP for his leaner version of DP and the inks polish the image up nicely.

I voted for Pop because his art looks like something I would buy at a comic shop.

They both look good. bp's has the cleanliness that attracts my eye, and POP's has the composition. I think that POP's, even though it's less 'finished' get's the edge because it has less mistakes, even though those 'drippy' parts of the background blacks feel a little un-natural. (not to say BP's is full of mistakes, just some of the background details are a little off).

I've got one word for you, Ballpoint. RINGER! I look at this piece and compare it to what you entered in this months PUMMEL round and it's like two different artists. I thought you were going to be easy, but you really did a great looking piece.
Way to PUMMEL, Ballpoint.
Yeah, that background element was a bad choice, but it looked so empty back there without something. Initially, I had planned some "Arthur-Adams-ish" hatchery back there, but I ran out of time.
Oh well, another loss to add to my stats. I'll have to pull out all the stops for Alfred and Archerion. No more losses.

Yeah, Pop, if you ask me he totally hustled you...
By the way, don't worry about me. I'll be really easy ;)
haha I agree POP, this piece was a hundred times better then what BP delivered in the ranked match, same for Jared Lee, to let me off that easy. BP I think you owe me a rematch!

Thanks Pop, this was a good match up.
This months PUMMEL match was brutal. Slam figured me out early, i have ZERO skills in Photoshop. I hate to color. Its painful to me. I suspect that if i hadn't poorly colored that pic and just left the lineart it would have faired a bit better.
(I never did congratulate you BTW slam, the topic got moved somewhere and i lost it. ( good job !! ) )
Thanks to everyone who voted for me, and those that didn't , well, thanks for voting for Pop.

Lol, I never said you had to use Photoshop, it was open media. But I know your weakness now, next fight it's a photoshop only contest, hahahaha ;)

Hello !!!!
WOW , Both of your monthly pummel pieces from July and the pieces in this challenge cant hold a candle to what either of you did againgst me in street fights .
Whats going on ? Seriously ?
Ballpoint you got to go back to mixing in some grey work it makes that style pop out if your not using color ....
POP , WTH , dude ink your work youll take everyone down .
I feel either honored or offended that you both brought much better quality work against me ( perhaps both actually )
No offense meant just want to see the what I know you both can bring

actually !!!! This is where I do offend , but with the best intentions .
Both pieces were done nicely , I liked them both .
Compared to what Ive seen either of you do , I will call a spade a spade .... Im not impressed with either
your challenge wasnt anylonger than either of the ones against me , yet you both fell so short of what you showed then .
( * note Ballpoint you bragged about how you did your Thor vs the Migard Serpent in less than an hour on your lunch break in your car ( well we know when you draw best ) .... PoP you stated that you are so disatisfied with your inks ( well if they can drastically improve your over all performance , why ? )
much respect to both of you for what you brought against me , Im a brat I just expect to see more of the same ...

I'm not happy with where I am as a penciler, so I rarely am in a position where I look at something I've done and find it awesome enough that I feel like inking it. I'm happier inking other people.
I agree with everything else you said, though. I was more familiar with The Demon that I was with Deadpool, and certainly had more fun drawing The Demon than I ever would have had trying to be inspired by the topic of Michael Jackson. My last PUMMEL round was not fun at all. And then Spidey, who claimed that he was having a blast with the topic, didn't even present an entry for the lame ass topic he chose.
Anyway, I got PUMMELed hard here, and I'm a bit embarrassed by it. No disrespect to ballpoint, who is a really talented guy, but I didn't expect to get taken down quite so brutally, if at all. So, I have to take a different approach to this PUMMEL thing.
